Meghan Markle was spotted having fun on the first day of the Invictus Games in The Hague, Netherlands.

The 40-year-old, who recently paid tribute to Princess Diana with her meaningful jewellery, was seen cutting a relaxed figure during the Saturday April 16 outing as she donned blue jeans with a white top and a navy jacket.

With her brown mane pulled back into a ponytail, Meghan leaned over to speak to a young girl as she drove a Land Rover Mini Defender before getting into it.

The former Suits actress put her sunglasses back on as she sat on the trunk of the small vehicle as the girl, who wore a blue T-shirt with a pink long-sleeved top underneath, drove in the turn.

Prince Harry also seemed to be enjoying himself as he raised two fists in the air during the car ride.

The Jaguar Land Rover Driving Challenge took place at Zuiderpark, where the games kicked off.

Meghan and Harry, 37, were followed by their Netflix film crew at the event as they saluted injured military veterans.
